I am very excited to announce that I have officially partnered with the Plaza Frontenac Lululemon in Saint Louis, MO to help showcase their BRAND NEW 'Enlite Bra'! I couldn't be more excited about getting the opportunity to work with such a well known trustworthy brand! I have been asked to give an HONEST review on this bra.. so here it is!
Introducing the HOLY GRAIL of Lululemon Bras
First of all, let me just say I never really believed that a sports bra could be uh.. this comfortable AND flattering!! Holy cow I am blown away Lululemon. Good freaking job!
I thought it would be fun to talk about the history and development behind this bra, and then go full swing into the product itself. Lululemon has been making this bra for the last two years, and now it makes complete sense why it took them so long. They wanted to be sure that they could make this Elite bra a game changer for women who are constantly moving. and
Lululemon first asked 1,000 women how they all want to feel in a sports bra and researched how breasts move in all directions, meaning they needed to develop a bra that adheres movement + contours the shape of a woman's breast during a high intensity workout.
Whether that means you're a runner or want to train super hard... you 100% NEED a bra that will not slide around and will support your ta ta's from shifting/ hanging out!
Lululemon then paired this 360-degree design approach with their knowledge in biomechanics and body movement, and used motion-capture sensors to study the way each breast moves independently. From here they discovered that not all movement is bad, contrary to popular belief—some movement actually allows for more support and even enhances comfort.
The cool thing about this bra's material in particular is that there is nothing like it being sold at Lululemon yet.. that's right..this is a completely brand NEW product babes! The bra is completely made of Ultralu fabric, which is very smooth and light weight material. It has built in cups to give the bra a beautiful lifted shape, and to hold your breasts into place. The bra itself isn't super padded, which is why it is so light weight and can mesh to any body shape.
The end result? A high performing sports bra, that’s actually comfortable!
My Review:
I decided to put this bra to the test during my Saturday workout this weekend... aka the HARDEST day to train at Faster Fitness! The only semi 'negative' thing that I have to say about this bra is that it's a little harder to latch in the back! A tip that I have is to A. get used to latching the back or B. put it on without the straps up and THEN pull them over your shoulders. I am a little impatient/ have long nails so that's why I do option b since the straps are stretchy!
Besides that.. this bra really was MADE for movement babes! I lifted and did a lot of different high intensity exercises, followed by sprints and forgot I was even wearing a sports bra. In the past I have gotten super frustrated when I'm wearing one of my Victoria's Secret bras and don't feel like they really accentuate the shape. My absolute favorite part about this bra is it's material and the design. I love how it has the higher neck cut and doesn't chaff my arm pit area. Plus can we just admire the beautiful back for a second!? OBSESSED!
I am so thankful I now own a bra that will give me perfect shape AND lift no matter what workout I am doing! I will be buying this in the burgundy and grey colors VERY soon.. no joke it's so worth the $98 love bugs!
Fashion Tip: Ladies who want to really get that intense workout in or just look super cute, pair this with a pair of high waisted leggings and say hello to your favorite new workout top!
