Carby Carly & Fatty Maddie Dessert Series Launch!

CARBY CARLY AND FATTY MADDIE SERIES

Hey babes!

I am so excited to announce that my roomie and bestie, Carly and I are officially dropping a fun recipe series that will be focused on making easy 'healthier option' desserts! If you are anything like Carl and I, we constantly CRAVE sweets! Honestly it's really bad haha.. We are guilty of always making sure we fit Halo Top ice cream into our calorie/ protein intake for the day. If you haven't heard of Halo Top- it is a low calorie option ice cream with protein in it.. and it is freaking DELICIOUS. The addiction is real. Regular grocery stores have them in the ice cream section!

I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to baking, however Carl loves baking and has been teaching me her ways!

I will also be sharing a ton of my meal prepping recipes here in the near future for my readers who are curious on how to make their prepping a little more interesting! We all know having chicken and asparagus every week is just plain BORING. One of my many goals with this food section is to make it easy to spice it up in the kitchen, and satisfy your cravings the RIGHT way.

A lot of our recipes will involve using Quest's Multipurpose powder, and their protein powder, so stock up accordingly, and let's get started!

For our first recipe we will be showcasing the 'Fudging Chipfaced' Cake !

Nutritional Value:

Serving Size: 6

Per Slice: 99 calories, 9 Net carbs, 19g of protein

Total Calories: 595

Protein: 112 g

Carbs: 57g

What you need:

- 1/2 Tbsp of Hershey Sugar Free Chocolate Chips (35 calories, 4 n carbs)

-1 Egg (55 calories, 6 g protein)

-1/6 cup of stevia

-1/6 cup of Sugar Free Syrup (they have some at Dierberg's that Carly and I get)

-Original PB2

-3 scoops of chocolate quest protein (330 calories, 69 g of protein, 12 N carbs)

How:

This recipe is super easy!

-First off you will want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and mix all of the given ingredients in a bowl and transfer it into a smaller baking circle pan like the one in our pictures.

*We blended the PB2 separately, and added it in after all the ingredients were in the pan so that it would have that swirl effect. Same with the chocolate chips, however you can feel free to blend all of these things together and bake. PS make sure to taste test before you bake it, you may need to add more Stevia!

-You will then put a timer on for 9 minutes. The center of your cute cake should be a little gooey if you are wanting it to be like ours,. If you decide to put it in a few minutes longer it will make the cake more brownie like.

If you are wanting to add some ice cream to it.. Don't worry, ya girls got you covered. Add a scoop of Vanilla Bean Halo Top, and a few raspberries, and voila the best chocolate and peanut butter craving solution!

Sidenote: Carly and I also ate this as a substitute for breakfast and it was BOMB heated up!
